Writing about the Lectures

The parameters for the lecture write-ups are as follows:

*They must consist of 1-2 pages (you can write more!), double-spaced, in 12-point text, with 1-inch margins. 

*In the header of your write-up, please include your name, email address, as well as: the date, time, and location of the event; the event title; and the the name of the speaker(s).

*About half of your write-up should consist of an account of the event itself: the main argument(s), sources of evidence, methods and conclusions. The remaining portion should consist of: your own reaction, including how the lecture relates to (and may have changed your views of) things; what struck you as new; and questions that you feel were left unaddressed or unanswered.
